How the JobHalal editorial team prepares its guides to halal work: our method, official sources, regular updates and our policy for handling corrections.

JobHalal editorial team

The JobHalal guides are prepared by an editorial team working to shared rules. This page explains how the content is written, checked and updated.

How the guides are written

Each page starts from a concrete question readers ask: is a job lawful, which rights apply during Ramadan, which sectors are hiring in a given country. The team favours practical, verifiable information, avoids generalities and clearly flags the points on which opinions differ.

  • Religious questions are presented as the common positions of scholars, without personal opinions or fatwas.
  • Legal questions are summarised in broad terms and refer readers to the competent authorities.
  • No figure, organisation or piece of legislation is cited without a reliable source.

The sources we use

The team relies mainly on international organisations, standards bodies, development institutions and official websites on employment law and professional mobility. The relevant sources are listed at the bottom of each guide so that readers can check them and go further.

Updates

Immigration rules, employment law and certification standards change over time. The guides are reviewed periodically and corrected when information changes. An older page should always be checked against the most recent official source.

Corrections

If you notice a mistake, outdated information or ambiguous wording, write to info@jobhalal.com stating the page concerned and, if possible, the source that allows the correction to be verified. Reports are reviewed and pages are amended where justified.
